Louisiana State University Selects Othot as its Predictive Analytics Partner
Louisana’s flagship university will use the Othot Platform to grow enrollment and maximize resources
(Pittsburgh, PA) January 30, 2018 – Othot, a predictive analytics SaaS company, today announced that it has been selected as the predictive analytics platform for Louisiana State University (LSU). Othot will implement its predictive analytics platform and develop custom models for LSU to grow enrollment and to guide the university’s financial aid policy.
“We are very excited to work with LSU,” said Andy Hannah, CEO of Othot. “It is a university that sees and understands the power of predictive analytics, and we think our platform will provide a distinct competitive advantage to LSU as it strives for growth.”
LSU selected Othot because of its advanced machine learning algorithms that not only provide surface insights, but also allow customers to run different scenarios to uncover what motivates a student to enroll. LSU will also use Othot’s latest innovation, Sensitivity Analysis, to evaluate and set financial strategy for FY 2019.
"LSU is eager to partner with Othot, whose platform is the latest in predictive analytics for enrollment. We are equally enthused with the prescriptive features that Othot offers for our team to hone in interventions that matter most to enroll our institution’s desired classes," said Danny Barrow, Director of Admissions at LSU.
