Submit your abstract for the 2021 Partner Experience!

The Othot team would like to invite higher ed professionals to submit a session proposal for the virtual 2021 Partner Experience August 4-6. We encourage all institutions, partners and non-Othot partners, interested to submit their case study session with a focus on data and analytics. Sessions should highlight examples of applying data and analytics to institutional strategies, results and lessons learned. Sessions can range from examples of completed initiatives with concrete data to current works in progress.

Submissions include a selection of one of the following session formats.

1Solutions Session

60-minute session with roughly 45 minutes of case study presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A

2Snapshot Session

30-minute session including 20 minutes of case study presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A

We will evaluate sessions based on the inclusion of the following elements:

  • A clear description of session topic and format within abstract.
  • Providing audience takeaways with a focus on the concepts, knowledge and skills that can be learned from your presentation.
  • Sessions should focus on a beginner to intermediate level of understanding.
  • Indication of audience the session intends to engage, this can include job titles and/or institution type.
  • Content focused on forward thinking solutions for higher education.

Topic Areas

The following topic areas are intended to inspire and direct proposal content.

Topics include (but are not limited to) the following options:
  • Enrollment management
  • Financial aid
  • Student Success
  • Advanced analytics
  • Data governance
  • Gaining stakeholder buy in for advanced analytics
  • Change management with new solutions
  • International risk management
  • COVID-19 strategies
  • Other

Guidelines for Submissions

  • All elements of submission form must be addressed
  • Provide a clear description of session topic and format within abstract
  • Provide audience takeaways with a focus on the concept, knowledge, and skills that can be learned from your presentation
  • Focus on a beginner to intermediate level of understanding
  • Describe the audience that you are targeting with your presentation; this can include job titles and/or institution type
  • We welcome submissions to include up to 2 co-presenters
  • All speakers must be available to present August 4-6, 2021
  • There will be no fee for selected speakers/co-presenters from colleges and universities to attend Partner Experience
  • Selected speakers will be notified by May 1, 2021
  • Othot reserves the right to revise presentation titles or edit the session description of selected presentations for Othot promotional and program publications
