(Pittsburgh, PA) January 17, 2018 - Othot, a predictive analytics company, launched a new feature in its Othot Platform called Sensitivity Analysis. Higher education institutions can now use Othot’s Sensitivity Analysis to predict how different levels of financial aid, campus visits, marketing activities, or a combination of the three impact an individual student’s likelihood to enroll at a college or university.

“With Othot’s Sensitivity Analysis, you can see – at a granular level – what moves the needle for each individual student and the level of impact your resources can have,” says Andy Hannah, CEO of Othot. “The power is in the predictions, and enrollment management and financial aid professionals can use it to see, understand, and select the best path to take to reach their goals.”

The Sensitivity Analysis feature is available in Othot’s predictive analytics platform. It uses machine learning techniques to produce a sensitivity analysis for all individual students in a college or university’s prospect pool. Drawing data from both internal and external sources, the Sensitivity Analysis provides real-time predictions throughout the enrollment cycle.
